From 2 to 5 November 2026, EquipHotel brought together over 1,200 exhibitors at Porte de Versailles in Paris around one theme: “plural hospitality”. We were there. What we took away: an impressive range of products for hotels, a real eye for beauty and, above all, a culture of service you could feel everywhere.
What is EquipHotel?
EquipHotel is the trade show for the hotel and restaurant industry, held every two years in Paris and organised by RX France. The 2026 edition took place from 2 to 5 November at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with over 1,200 exhibitors, more than 100 talks and meetings, and 80,000 professionals expected. The show is organised into four areas: Tech & Services, Wellness, Design and Foodservice.
What strikes you when you arrive at the show?
Service, from the very first minutes. Everyone is impeccably dressed, the welcome is attentive, and every stand receives visitors the way a hotel receives a guest. You understand straight away that hospitality is a world entirely focused on service. For us, working on shower water, it is a useful reminder: a solution only belongs in a hotel if it serves the guest experience.
Which solutions for hotels did we discover?
A great many. Bedding, furniture, equipment, technology: you realise how much a hotel is an assembly of thousands of details, each with its own specialists. A friend who runs a hotel summed it up for me simply: there are lots of new products this year, and it is exciting.
Why was design so prominent?
Because the Design area was simply stunning. Not just lighting: entire lounges, complete settings, very stylish and carefully finished. You can tell that decoration is no longer just a backdrop, but part of the experience a hotel promises its guests.
What did we learn from the talks on spas and wellness?
Wellness is one of the show's four areas, and several talks were devoted to it. We came away with plenty of practical advice on what you absolutely need to plan for, and not forget, when creating or upgrading a spa. For Molleau, the subject speaks to us directly: the spa is also a place where hot water is at the heart of the experience.
How do you make the guest experience unforgettable?
It was the common thread of many talks on hotel management and guest relations: a personalised experience, designed from the moment of arrival, is what makes a guest come back and recommend the hotel. Everything else follows from that.
It is also what we believe about the shower. The Molleaumètre does not cut off the water or reduce the flow: it displays the litres in real time, with a light ring, and lets the guest decide. Comfort stays intact, and guests can, if they wish, discover their water-saving habits in the app. Measured result: 23% less hot water per shower on average.
What did EquipHotel bring us?
Above all, meetings. The show was an opportunity to talk with hoteliers, understand their priorities and constraints, and immerse ourselves even further in their business. We come back with new contacts and plenty of ideas.
