In November 2024, Molleau received the Jury's Favourite award for entrepreneurial innovation, presented by Paris & Co and the City of Paris.
Molleau is a French startup founded in 2022 that develops the Molleaumètre: a connected water meter that fits onto the shower hose in a few minutes and displays the number of litres used in real time, with a colour-coded light ring that changes shade as consumption rises. Self-powered by a hydroelectric micro-turbine and battery-free, it cuts shower water use by 23% in real conditions, through awareness alone, without constraining the user.
Do you manage a portfolio of showers?
Thirty minutes to estimate your savings potential. No commitment.
Why this award matters to us
The award recognises an approach we have argued for from the start: an everyday subject (the shower accounts for 39% of domestic water use), a universal habit, and the potential for substantial impact once the solution is deployed at scale across student residences, hotels and collective housing.

The award presented on stage in the entrepreneurial innovation category, and the Paris de l'innovation 2024 trophy.
Paris & Co is the innovation agency of the City of Paris. The Jury's Favourite award for entrepreneurial innovation recognises, each year, startups whose impact goes beyond economic performance alone.
Our thanks to Paris & Co for this recognition, and to everyone who has supported Molleau from the beginning.
